Hui Wei - Restaurant

Hui Wei is an unassuming place from the outside. On the inside, it's a bit too 1980s for anyone's taste. But ignore that. Because the food is outstanding!

We went for lunch where everything -- literally everything -- was £7.95. Bento boxes, noodle dishes, rice... you name it. And it was all fantastic. Sheila had seafood fried rice, I had the mixed seafood udon, and our new friend and astrophysicist had a chicken bento box. All were outstanding, if not a little on the spicy side. Which was a fine thing, since it was raining on us. Again.

This post is -- or soon will be -- part of one of our City Guides, a free online resource that nicely collects the sights, sounds, tastes, and experiences we enjoyed in one certain area. And did we mention free?
