Living in the tropics, you’d think sunglasses would be a way of life for the citizens of Bangkok. You’d be wrong. Yes, the sun is rather intense all the time, but sunglasses, while far from uncommon, certainly aren’t all that important to most people, with two possible exceptions: high-society young fashionistas who own dozens of pairs, and international criminals who claim to have light sensitivity. But we know they really just want to hide their true identity from Thai officials.
