If you had to pick a time to visit north central England, it probably wouldn't be spring. Because spring in that part of the island feels a lot like winter. But we found ourselves in Sheffield with several weeks of free time. So, we made the best of it.
And you know what? It turned out to be a great trip! Luckily for us, a couple of friends from America happened to be passing through the same part of England. That got us all out and exploring, finding great things to do in a struggling steel town.
