Following in our tour of English towns you've never heard of, we've just completed the City Guide to Sheffield, England! It's not all that likely you have Sheffield on your list of places to visit anytime soon. But it's a sizable city in Yorkshire, so it's not unthinkable that your travels might take you there.
If so, then this guide might help you figure out what to do. Unlike most guidebooks, it's not filled with top 10 lists, maps, or countless other things you can get with a simple search. Instead, it's filled with the highlights of what we did while we were in town, broken up by individual location and categorized by the type of activity you might want to do, like grab a beer or take in the sights.
