It's possible we were a little tipsy when we recorded this. As it turns out, Belgian beers are pretty big. Not just in size, but in alcohol content. Surprise! But that Westvleteren 12 ... Wow. Not sure it's the best beer in the world, but it's without a doubt the best Belgian beer I've had and clearly worth the 100 points!. Gotta come over here to get it!

This is a nice restaurant with a good menu and a decent selection of beers. The portions were hefty and the food was good. The atmosphere is lovely. If we had more time I think we would have headed back.

/Drinking Au Brasseur was a treat. The staff spoke much better English than we spoke French, and were happy to swap out a couple of beers on the standard flight to a few we hadn't tried. No up charge, either. This place is pretty popular with the locals, as everyone seemed to know everyone.
