Extended Notes

Our question this week boils down to this: How do you keep the love going when you are apart for an extended periods of time. It’s not easy. Oddly enough (and somewhat of a surprise to Evo), our relationship started out that way. And here we are 30 years later, still together with plenty of advice handed out on the show on how we made it. Even after a kid, traveling the world together for an entire year, and now living in a foreign country.

You’ll gain all the insight when you listen to the show.

It probably won’t come as a big surprise if we tell you that communications and technology are a big part of how we manage on the rare occasion when we are apart. The good news is that we all live in the modern world. Great internet connectivity is almost ubiquitous. And failing that, there is teledildonics. Yeah, that’s a thing. Not that we can afford that advanced communication level. Speaking of that...

Ask Us Your Question!

Season Four of This One Time is driven by listeners like you. You ask us a question and we’ll give you the answer in the form of a humorous (?) anecdote from our travels around the world. It’s sorta like Dear Abby meets Anthony Bourdain, only with less amazing food. Or swear words.

Show Your Support For The Show

We simply couldn’t produce This One Time without support -- financial support -- from our fans. Patreon makes it easy to support us for just $1 a month.
