We still have a month or so of the rainy season in Bangkok, though it's been relatively dry the last week or so. Of course, that'll change. Welcome to the tropics. Bangkok has a love/hate-the-fact-that-we're-under-water relationship with rains, but we're lucky to live in an area that doesn't see much in the way of flooding. Sure, traffic crawls to a stop like anywhere as soon as the rains start, but we usually just get a nice, pleasant rain in the evening, as Sheila captured in this One Minute Memories video:
We also know that storms and flash floods are affecting many of our friends and family. Such is the new normal. Thanks, global warming! Stay safe out there. We'll try and keep ourselves above seal level.
