Via Wikipedia: Sheffield is a city and metropolitan borough in South Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, its name derives from the River Sheaf, which runs through the city.
And for us, more time in a non-Schengen area! It's a quick train ride from Manchester, too. The place we're housesitting has a couple of bonus features. First, it's backs up to the forest, so we'll have ample time to get out into the woods. It should be warm enough for lots of great exploring when we arrive. Second, there's a bus stop literally across the street, so no need for us to hire a car while we're here. And thirdly, right behind that bus stop is a pub. Hooray, beer!
